(Leavenworth/Entiat/Winthrop National Fish Hatcheries)

Raises and releases Chinook salmon and steelheads to mitigate effects of Columbia River dams. The hatcheries also sponsor educational events like SalmonFest and Kids Fishing Days.

Natural Resources
Conservation Services

Provides technical and financial support for private landowners to implement conservation practices. NRCS operates locally with the Cascadia Conservation District.

Bureau of Land Management

Administers public lands for conservation, resource use, and recreation by present and future generations. The BLM has Washington offices in Spokane and Wenatchee.
